General
:
The M-600 series Los Angeles Abrasion Machine is designed to ASTM C-131 and AASHTO T-96. These methods cover the procedure for testing crushed rock, slag, uncrushed gravel and crushed gravel for resistance to abrasion in the Los Angles Abrasion Machine, with an abrasive change. This machine can also be used for determining the abrasion limits given in ASTM C-33.
