The toe grader is used for grading of soil for road construction purpose and for embankment construction. Toe grader is so called because it is toed by tractor. The grader is 21 feet in length having three sections. First section is for toeing, second is fitted with a rotating turn table having dia of 6.5 feet. The sweeping blade is attested with two columns on the turn table by nuts and bolts. This two column is used for inclination of the blade in z direction . Its 3D movement can be achieved by worm gear and chain sprocket attachment. Ripper teeth arrangement can be attach with the sweeping blade attachment. The third section is for drive wheel arrangement and operator stand. There are opportunities to use water ballast and iron ballast to operate in desired load.

Main body made by 7/8" ms plate. It consists of three parts. First section is for toeing. It makes 27 deg. angle with the horizontal line in upper side and 15 deg in lower side. Its horizontal length is 6.5 ft. its internal volume (10 cft) can be filled with water or sand or any kind of ballast. Grader is hooked with a Tractor by a
6"x ½" plate with ? 2" dia hole to be pulled forward and backward. Second section is an 8'x2'x20" welded box with 27cft internal volume for ballast attachment. The third section is a 5'-1"x2'x20" box inclined from the horizontal axis by 15 deg. and its internal volume is 18 cft. For tyre attachment there are angle and axle arrangement. There are water ballast hole and drain hole in each section.

Rotating Turn Table |

It is made by 0.9" thick ms plate of ? 6.5 ft dia. The sweeping blade is fixed on the turn table by ? 4.5" dia column with ? 4" dia internal shaft. By rotating the table maximum of 18 deg. of blade oscillation can be achieved from x-axis.

Sweeping Blade Attachment |

It's made by 8 ft long and 2 ft width and 0.5" thick ms plate. 4" harden steel cutting bit attached to the blade body by nuts and bolts. Grading operation is done by this blade. The blade can be rotated and oscillated in x-y plane and z direction. Maximum of 15 deg. can be achieving in rotation in x-y plane and 10 deg in Z-Axis. Blade has 2 ft extension in both the sides which make provision to extended blade length up to 12 ft if needed.

Worm Gear and Chain Sprocket Attachment |

It is very important attachment in this system. Worm & Pinion attachment is used to control the rotation of rotating turn table as well as the movement of the blade in z-axis up to 10 deg.
The chain sprocket attachment consists of single chain and four sprockets. This chain and sprocket arrangement gets power from the rotation of worm gear. By rotating the handle wheel, operator can drive the worm gear and power is transmitted to the chain and sprocket arrangement which able to make the movement of the blade in z direction up to 10 deg. Other worm gear is drive by right hand which able to make the 18 deg rotation of the blade in both left and right side. Two sides of blade go up and down in alternate way because of left hand and right hand threading of the arrangement. A provision is made to take off the chain by loosening the idler sprocket for individual operation of the blade movement at the time of transportation of the equipment or for adjusting the blade height in operation.

Drive Wheel |

There are four no of rear drive wheel. Maximum load per wheel is 1500 kg. Tread is smooth and inflation pressure varies from 5 to 8 kg/cm2. The axle bar is made from 2"x2" square bar of ms steel having drum for double tyre arrangement. Greasing point is given in the entire tyre.

Operator Stand |

Operator stand is attached in the rear section of the grader. Operator can easily operate the blade oscillation by rotating the hand wheel by standing on operator stand. This stand can be easily removed from the main body for transportation.
