The
Speedy Moisture Tester from Maxim quickly and accurately
measure the moisture content in virtually any powder, mixes
and pastes of soil. sand , clay , or other granular material.
In
a Speedy Moisture Tester, the moisture in the test specimen
reacts with calcium carbide regents to form acetylene
gas in the pressure chamber. The pressure gauge on the
tester is calibrated to directly read the percentage of
moisture contained in the specimen.
Each
Speedy Moisture Tester is supplied complete with balance,
measuring spoon, cleaning cloth and brushes, calcium carbide
regent and polished oak carrying case.
