The
Maxim C1. Compression Tester is designed for use in both
the laboratory and field for testing 6? (152mm) diameter
by12" (305mm) long concrete cylinders.
The
load frame consists of four steel uprights, treated and
welded into the upper and lower plates. This agreement
allows for a maximum of daylight opening in the testing
frame, for easy access to the specimen.
Test
loads are applied to the specimen by means of hydraulic
loading cylinder and hand actuated pump system.. At specimen
failure the maximum load is displayed in english &
metric unites on the pressure gauge.
The
C1 is supplied complete with platens for test standard
6? by 12? (152 x 305mm) cylinders using either the capping
compound or capping pad methods.
With
optional attachments, the C1 can be used for flexure,
cube, block and small cylinder testing.
